Women Replanting

Nicola Woods, Swindon
Weekly Wednesday morning circles, 10am - 12pm

A gently held space with guided meditation, seasonal reflections, with the choice to share, listen & be in silence , with plenty of tea…

I create spaces where women can come together, to sit in circle, to pause, slow down, connect with the land, elements , seasons, ourselves and each other. Just as our ancestors did, as many indigenous tribes still do. A space to be seen, heard and held by other women in community, as we bring new stories to an ancient way of gathering.

Who is this space for

This is a circle for anyone who identifies as a woman, who is over 18. Mothers with babies in arms/non-crawling are very welcome to join us.

Journeying together

Our Circles will be held on Wednesday mornings, giving us a chance to pause midweek, gather and be held. I often reflect on the moon cycles and the seasons we are in when we gather in circle. Also honouring the 8 important seasonal transitions that take place during the year. At the Quarter Points (Equinox, equal length of day & night and Solstices, longest & shortest days) and the Cross Quarter Points (the four fire festivals).

Weekly, 10am - 12pm

Wanborough, Swindon

The Celtic wheel can support us in deepening our realtionship with the natural world, guiding us to; unfurl together at Imbolc; feel into our creative energy at the Spring Equinox; celebrate the suns warmth returning at Beltane, step into our joy and playfulness at Summer Solstice; feel into abundance during Lammas/Lugnasadh; notice the hints of Autumn and the darker days in the air at the Autumn Equinox; accept what we need to let go of and grieve at Samhain and gather once more before honouring hibernation, dreaming and the need to go inwards at Winter Solstice.

During these transitional points in the year our ancestors of this land swept their hearths and lit new fires, they honoured what had passed, paused, reflected on the last few months and felt into the seasonal energy coming in. In this way we are inviting women to come and join us to re-plant, re-connect and let nature be our guide to how we move and live in this world.

We can struggle to hear our own inner wisdom, often looking outside ourselves for answers, for our truth, the noise of our busy world can even drown out our own inner voice completely. Circle is a place where you are welcome no matter how you are in the moment and can speak and share without another attempting to fix or advise you, the experience of being heard and held can be truly freeing and provide a space to hear your own inner guidence.

This is a non-religious space and all are welcome to journey through the seasons with us. We will guide you to feel the support of the trees, the breeze, the land which holds you, we all belong here.
